In summer, Finns pick small berries, which grow in abundance in the country. After picking, they often prepare this tasty blueberry pie or freeze them for later use!

KARJALANPIIRAKKA
Karjalanpirrakka are also a popular Finnish delicacy. In Finnish cuisine, they are very common, and often at breakfast time. They are rye tarts with rice porridge. They are often served with egg butter.

RUISLEIPÄ
The rye bread par excellence! A must in Finland, wherever you are! It is a basic part of the Finnish diet. It is eaten at every meal: at breakfast, lunch and even as an aperitif!
